Welcome to Learning & Listening: Classical Music Literacy!

Interested in classical music, but don’t know where to start?

Let Vira introduce you to the building blocks of classical music and guide you through the vast collection of recordings available on any device with an internet connection.

Learn about rhythm, melody, harmony, instruments and form. Explore solo, chamber and orchestral works and theatrical music for ballet and opera. Acquaint yourself with composers and styles. Enjoy personalized listening lists and integrate classical music into your life.

Sessions take place over Zoom and last 40 minutes.
$30 per session or 4 sessions for $105.
Partners, friends, groups are welcome!

Vira received her BA in Music from Yale and her MM in Vocal Performance from Mannes, The New School for Music. In addition to teaching and performing, Vira runs the concert series Vira & Friends and serves as the President of the Board of the Berkshire Opera Festival.
